     Sir Rhys Llewellyn, 2nd Bt. was born on 9 March 1910.1 He was the son of Sir David Richard Llewellyn, 1st Bt. and Magdalene Anne Harries.1 He died on 25 April 1978 at age 68, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1935 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising Master of Foxhounds of Talybont between 1936 and 1940.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in June 1939 in the service of the Welsh Guards, Supply Reserve of Officers.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Llewellyn, of Bwllfa, Aberdare, co. Glamorgan [U.K., 1922] on 15 December 1940.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Glamorgan between 1950 and 1951.1 He was invested as a Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.).1

     Sir David Treharne Llewellyn was born on 17 January 1916.1 He was the son of Sir David Richard Llewellyn, 1st Bt. and Magdalene Anne Harries.1 He married Joan Anne Williams, daughter of Robert Henry Williams, on 18 February 1950.1 He died in 1992.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Wesh Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Cardiff between 1950 and 1959.1 He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Home Office between 1951 and 1952.1 He wrote the book Nye The Beloved Patrician.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1960.1

     Joan Anne Williams was born on 24 December 1916.2 She was the daughter of Robert Henry Williams.1 She married Sir David Treharne Llewellyn, son of Sir David Richard Llewellyn, 1st Bt. and Magdalene Anne Harries, on 18 February 1950.1 She died on 26 November 2013 at age 96.2
     She gained the rank of Squadron Officer in the service of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.2 She was head of the Cabinet Cipher Office between 1942 and 1946.2 Her married name became Llewellyn. She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).2

     Robert Crofts Williams Llewellyn was born on 19 November 1952.1 He is the son of Sir David Treharne Llewellyn and Joan Anne Williams.1 He married, firstly, Susan Constance Miller-Stirling, daughter of Hubert Miller-Stirling, on 10 October 1975.1 He married, secondly, Lucinda Roberte Gilmour, daughter of Alexander Clement Gilmour and Barbara Marie-Louise Constance Berry, in 1981.2 He married, thirdly, Sarah Dominica Anderson, daughter of Major Gavin Campbell Anderson and Miriam Dominica Browne, on 14 June 1989.2 He and Lucinda Roberte Gilmour were divorced in 1989.2
