     Hon. Gwenllian Philipps was born on 13 August 1916.1 She was the daughter of Laurence Richard Philipps, 1st Baron Milford and Ethel Georgina Speke.1 She died on 4 August 2013 at age 96 at Boughrood, Llyswen, Breconshire, Wales.2
     She gained the rank of Subaltern in the service of the Auxiliary Territorial Service.1 She held the office of member of the Radnorshire County Council between 1959 and 1964.2 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Radnorshire.2 She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1962.2 She held the office of High Sheriff of Radnorshire between 1970 and 1971.2

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Pembroke Yeomanry (TA).1 He was chairman of Laurence Philipps Holdings Ltd.1
