     Edward Richard Lambton, 7th Earl of Durham was born on 19 October 1961.¹ He is the son of Lord Antony Claude Frederick Lambton and Belinda Bridget Blew-Jones.¹ He married, firstly, Christabel Mary McEwen, daughter of Roderick McEwen and Romana von Hofmannsthal, in 1983.¹ He and Christabel Mary McEwen were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine FitzGerald, daughter of Desmond FitzGerald, 29th Knight of Glin, on 19 October 1995.¹
