     James Ian Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale was born on 17 July 1930. He was the son of Major John Granville Morrison, 1st Baron Margadale and Hon. Margaret Esther Lucie Smith. He married Clare Barclay, daughter of Anthony Lister Barclay, on 14 October 1952. He died on 6 April 2003 at age 72.1
     James Ian Morrison, 2nd Baron Margadale gained the title of 2nd Baron Margadale. He lived at Fonthill House, Wiltshire, England.1
