     Albert Augustus Phipps was born on 1 July 1847.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps and Margaret Anne Bathurst.1 He died on 16 January 1875 at age 27, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 60th Rifles.1

     Maria Henrietta Sophia Phipps was born circa 1836. She was the daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps and Margaret Anne Bathurst.1 She married, firstly, Captain Frederick Sayer, son of Robert Sayer and Frances Julia Errington, on 29 January 1856.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. William Chaine on 4 December 1872.1 She died on 21 December 1915.1
      From 29 January 1856, her married name became Sayer. She was Keeper of the State Apartments, Kensington Palace.1 From 4 December 1872, her married name became Chaine.

     She was invested as a Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.).1 She held the office of Maid-of-Honour to HM Queen Victoria between 1862 and 1869.1 She held the office of Bedchamber-Woman in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria between 1889 and 1901.1

Captain Frederick Sayer1

     Captain Frederick Sayer was born on 2 August 1832.2 He was the son of Robert Sayer and Frances Julia Errington.2 He married Maria Henrietta Sophia Phipps, daughter of Hon. Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps and Margaret Anne Bathurst, on 29 January 1856.3 He died on 29 February 1868 at age 35 at Cairo, Egypt.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Welch Fusiliers.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 10th Hussars.1 He was invested as a Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.).1

     Susan Stewart Geddes was the daughter of Very Rev. John Gamble Geddes.1 She married Major Charles Edmund Phipps, son of Hon. Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps and Margaret Anne Bathurst, on 2 June 1868.1 She died in 1930.1
      Her married name became Phipps.

     Charles Stewart Phipps was born on 12 December 1871.1 He was the son of Major Charles Edmund Phipps and Susan Stewart Geddes.1 He married Edith Anne Webber Douglas, daughter of Captain Francis Douglas, in 1902.1 He died on 15 August 1917 at age 45, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.
