     Margaret Griffin is the daughter of Scott Griffin. She married Brigadier Hugh Ronald Norman, son of Ronald Collet Norman and Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman, in 1937.

     Her married name became Alexander.

     Menie Muriel Dowie was the daughter of James Muir Dowie. She married Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Norman, 1st Bt. on 28 August 1891. She and Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Norman, 1st Bt. were divorced in 1903. She died on 25 March 1945.

     Hon. Sir Charles Beaumont Phipps was born on 27 December 1801. He was the son of Henry Phipps, 1st Earl of Mulgrave and Martha Sophia Maling. He married Margaret Anne Bathurst, daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry Bathurst and Grace Coote, on 25 June 1835. He died on 24 February 1866 at age 64.

     Edmund Phipps was born on 7 December 1808. He was the son of Henry Phipps, 1st Earl of Mulgrave and Martha Sophia Maling. He married Maria Louisa Campbell, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Colin Campbell, on 15 May 1838. He died on 28 October 1857 at age 48.
     Edmund Phipps held the office of Recorder of Scarborough.

     Edward Cecil Guinness, 1st Earl of Iveagh was born on 10 November 1847.¹ He was the son of Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Guinness.¹ He married Adelaide Maria Guinness, daughter of Richard Samuel Guinness and Katherine Frances Jenkinson, on 20 May 1873.³ He died on 7 October 1927 at age 79.¹

Dublin [U.K.] on 27 March 1885.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1886.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1891.¹ He was created 1st Baron Iveagh of Iveagh, co. Down [U.K.] on 19 January 1891.¹ He was New Tag the 17,000 acre Elveden estate in Suffolk for £159,000 in 1893.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1895.¹ He was invested as a Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Dublin.¹ He was created 1st Viscount of Iveagh, co. Down [U.K.] on 18 December 1905.¹ He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1906.¹ He held the office of Chancellor of Dublin University in 1908.¹ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1910.¹ He was created 1st Earl of Iveagh [U.K.] on 30 September 1919.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Elveden [U.K.] on 30 September 1919.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     Adelaide Maria Guinness was born in 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Samuel Guinness and Katherine Frances Jenkinson.² She married Edward Cecil Guinness, 1st Earl of Iveagh, son of Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Guinness, on 20 May 1873.¹ She died on 16 February 1916.¹
     As a result of her marriage, Adelaide Maria Guinness was styled as Baroness Iveagh of Iveagh on 19 January 1891. As a result of her marriage, Adelaide Maria Guinness was styled as Viscountess of Iveagh on 18 December 1905.

     Richard Samuel Guinness was born on 17 June 1797.¹ He is the son of Richard Guinness and Mary Darley.² He married Katherine Frances Jenkinson, daughter of Sir Charles Jenkinson, 10th Bt., on 25 November 1833.¹ He died in 1857.¹
