     From 5 December 1891, her married name became Ward.1

     Major Mervyn Constantine Sanford Phipps was born on 26 February 1912. He is the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Eric Clare Edmund Phipps and Frances Ward. He married Joy Kathleen Goode, daughter of John Patrick Goode, on 14 September 1941.

     Rt. Hon. Sir Eric Clare Edmund Phipps was born on 27 October 1875. He was the son of Sir Constance Edmund Henry Phipps and Maria Jane Munday. He married, firstly, Yvonne de Louvencourt, daughter of Count unknown de Louvencourt, on 20 July 1907. He married, secondly, Frances Ward, daughter of Herbert Ward, on 29 April 1911. He died on 13 August 1945 at age 69.
