     Sir Constantine Edmund Henry Phipps was born on 15 March 1840.2 He was the son of Hon. Edmund Phipps and Maria Louisa Campbell.2 He married, firstly, Maria Jane Mundy, daughter of Alfred Miller Mundy, on 7 October 1863.2 He married, secondly, Alexandra de Schoumacker, daughter of Wassili de Schoumacker, on 20 January 1904.2 He died on 15 March 1911 at age 71.2
     He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1858 and 1906.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)2 He held the office of Minister Plenipotentiary to France between 1892 and 1894.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Brazil between 1894 and 1900.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Belgium between 1900 and 1906.1

     Maria Louisa Campbell was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Colin Campbell.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Charles Francis Norton, son of Hon. Fletcher Norton and Caroline Elizabeth Balmain, on 29 December 1831.1 She married, secondly, Hon. Edmund Phipps, son of Henry Phipps, 1st Earl of Mulgrave and Martha Sophia Maling, on 15 May 1838.1 She died in 1888.1
     From 29 December 1831, her married name became Norton. From 15 May 1838, her married name became Phipps.

     Captain Bernard Mordaunt Ward was born on 20 January 1893.1 He was the son of Colonel Bernard Rowland Ward and Jeanie Duffield.1 He died on 12 October 1945 at age 52, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Dragoon Guards (Reserve of Offficers.)1 He fought in the First World War.1
