      From 20 September 1934, her married name became Irby.1

     Major Hon. Anthony Paul Irby was born on 21 March 1908 at London, England.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Leonard Paul Irby and Ethel Maud Boteler.1 He married, firstly, Countess Marie Apponyi, daughter of Count Anton Apponyi and Kate Nelke, on 20 September 1934 at St. Wolfgang, Austria.1 He married, secondly, Beryl Mayman, daughter of Harold Mayman, on 8 June 1957.1 He died in 1986.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1932.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the The Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was decorated with the award of the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1 In 1976 he was granted the rank of a baron's younger son.1
