Ivor Andros De La Rue was born on 2 December 1880.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Andros De La Rue, 1st Bt. and Emily Maria Speed.1 He married Lilian Blanche Mary Stewart, daughter of Hon. Fitzroy Somerset Keith Stewart and Elizabeth Louisa Rogers, on 16 January 1912.1 He died on 16 June 1927 at age 46.2
