     Ivor Andros de la Rue was born on 2 December 1880.3 He was the son of Sir Thomas Andros de la Rue, 1st Bt. and Emily Maria Speed.2 He married Lilian Blanche Mary Stewart, daughter of Hon. Fitzroy Somerset Keith Stewart and Elizabeth Louisa Rogers, on 16 January 1912.2 He died on 16 June 1927 at age 46.3
     Ivor Andros de la Rue gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Service Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.1

     Sir Thomas Andros de la Rue, 1st Bt. was born on 26 May 1849.1 He was the son of Dr. Warren de la Rue and Georgiana Bowles.2 He married Emily Maria Speed, daughter of William Speed, on 1 February 1876.1 He died on 10 April 1911 at age 61.1
     Sir Thomas Andros de la Rue, 1st Bt. graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was chairman of Thomas de la Rue & Company.1 He was created 1st Baronet de la Rue, of Cadogan Square, Chelsea, London [U.K.] on 17 June 1898.1

     Emily Maria Speed was the daughter of William Speed.2 She married Sir Thomas Andros de la Rue, 1st Bt., son of Dr. Warren de la Rue and Georgiana Bowles, on 1 February 1876.1 She died on 11 October 1904.1
     From 1 February 1876, her married name became de la Rue.
