     Major Charles Frederick Gordon Bond was born circa 1912 at Ireland.2 He was the son of Charles Gordon Bond.2 He married Evelyn Hinchliff, daughter of Chamberlain F. T. Hinchliff, on 5 January 1935 at St. John-the-Baptist's Church, Instow, Devon, England.2 He died on 10 April 1945 at Borgerwald, Germany, killed in action.2
      Major Charles Frederick Gordon Bond also went by the nick-name of Dick.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Wiltshire Regiment.2
