     Algernon Percy, 1st Earl of Beverley was born on 21 January 1749/50 at Mayfair, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Hugh Percy, 1st Duke of Northumberland and Elizabeth Seymour, Baroness Percy.1 He married Susan Isabella Burrell, daughter of Peter Burrell and Elizabeth Lewis, on 8 June 1775 at Sion House, Isleworth, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 21 October 1830 at age 80 at Le Mans, FranceG.2 He was buried at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) in February 1831.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Northumberland between 1774 and 1786.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Lovaine, Baron of Alnwick, co. Northumberland [G.B., 1784] on 6 June 1786.2 He was created 1st Earl of Beverley, co. York [Great Britain] on 2 November 1790.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) on 13 January 1820.2
     Collins writes that "His Lordship is remarkable for the elegance and suavity of his manners."2

Susan Isabella Burrell1

     Susan Isabella Burrell was born on 19 December 1750.2 She was the daughter of Peter Burrell and Elizabeth Lewis.3,2 She was baptised on 17 January 1751 at St. Anne's, Soho, London, EnglandG.2 She married Algernon Percy, 1st Earl of Beverley, son of Hugh Percy, 1st Duke of Northumberland and Elizabeth Seymour, Baroness Percy, on 8 June 1775 at Sion House, Isleworth, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 24 January 1812 at age 61 at Portman Square, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2 She was buried on 31 January 1812 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2 Her will was proven (by probate) on 18 November 1812.2
     Her married name became Percy. After her marriage, Susan Isabella Burrell was styled as Baroness Lovaine on 6 June 1786. After her marriage, Susan Isabella Burrell was styled as Countess of Beverley on 2 November 1790. Her last will was dated 7 October 1809.

     William David Heber-Percy was born on 5 March 1939.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Cyril Hugh Reginald Heber-Percy and Anne Garland.1 He married Christine Mary Gates, daughter of Terence Horatio Gates, on 18 January 1969.1 He died on 2 August 2020 at age 81.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was with the Colonial Office.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1966.1 He was Assistant Advisor to Aden.3 He lived in 2003 at Glawcoed, Talybont-on-Usk, Breconshire, Wales.3

     Lady Elizabeth Diana Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 20 January 1922.1 She was the daughter of Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch and Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles.1 She married Hugh Algernon Percy, 10th Duke of Northumberland, son of Alan Ian Percy, 8th Duke of Northumberland and Lady Helen Magdalan Gordon-Lennox, on 12 June 1946.1 She died on 19 September 2012 at age 90.3
     She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 12 June 1946, her married name became Percy. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Diana Montagu Douglas Scott was styled as Duchess of Northumberland on 12 June 1946. She was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor by University of Newcastle Polytechnic, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 She gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 6th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers.1 She lived in 2003 at Friar's Well, Hulne Park, Alnwick, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 She lived in 2003 at Clive Lodge, Albury, Surrey, EnglandG.1
