     Major William Moat graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Staffordshire Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He lived at Johnson Hall, Eccleshall, Staffordshire, England.1

     Colonel Almeric George Spencer was born on 16 October 1841.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. William Henry Spencer and Elizabeth Rose Thornhill.1 He married Alice Isabel Fraser, daughter of Colonel T. G. Fraser, on 11 August 1869.1 He married Ada Downing, daughter of Henry Downing, in 1914.1 He died on 5 September 1929 at age 87.1
     Colonel Almeric George Spencer gained the rank of Colonel and commanding officer in the service of the 33rd Regimental District and Essex Regiment.1
