David Barry, 6th Lord Barry was born after 1326.1 He was the son of David Barry, 5th Lord Barry and Margaret (?).1,2 He died on 6 September 1392.1
David Barry, 6th Lord Barry succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Barry [I., c. 1261] on 12 May 1347.1 On 25 April 1382 he was fined 100 shillings for absence from Parliament.1

John Barry, 7th Lord Barry was the son of David Barry, 6th Lord Barry.1 He married Ellice FitzGerald, daughter of Gerald fitz Maurice, 3rd Earl of Desmond, before 1392.1 He died circa 1420.1
John Barry, 7th Lord Barry also went by the nick-name of John kittagh (or in English, left handed).1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Lord Barry [I., c. 1261] on 6 September 1392.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Cork in 1401.1 He partipicated in an ordinance in 1402; Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.2 He held the office of Sheriff of County Cork between 1403 and 1415.1
