Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. was born on 26 January 1688 at Markethill, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He was the son of Sir Nicholas Acheson, 4th Bt. and Anne Taylor.1 He married Anne Savage, daughter of Rt. Hon. Philip Savage and Mary (?), in 1715.1 He died on 8 February 1748/49 at age 61.2 He was buried at Mullaghbracke, County Armagh, Ireland.1 His will (dated 23 November 1748) was probated in 1749.1
Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] in 1701.1 He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, on 25 May 1705.1 He graduated from Trinity College in 1707 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mullingar [Ireland] between 1727 and 1749.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Armagh in 1728.1

Anne Savage was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Philip Savage and Mary (?).1 She married Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt., son of Sir Nicholas Acheson, 4th Bt. and Anne Taylor, in 1715.1 She died circa October 1737.1 She was buried on 1 November 1737 at St. Audoen's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1

Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford was born on 1 September 1718.1 He was also reported to have been born on 15 September 1717 at Markethill, Mullaghbrack, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He was the son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage.1 He was baptised on 29 September 1718.1 He married Mary Richardson, daughter of John Richardson and Anne Beckett, in 1740.1 He died on 5 September 1790 at age 72 at Markethill, Mullaghbrack, County Armagh, Ireland.2

Mary Richardson was born in 1720.2 She was the daughter of John Richardson and Anne Beckett.1 She married Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Viscount Gosford, son of Sir Arthur Acheson, 5th Bt. and Anne Savage, in 1740.1
