Harriet Boyd was born circa 1793.1 She was the daughter of Hugh Boyd and Rose Boyd.1 She married Sir John Boyd, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Boyd, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Harley, on 22 September 1818.1 She died on 27 April 1864 at 9 Eaton Square, London, England.1

Sir John Augustus Boyd, 4th Bt. was born on 30 July 1819.1 He was the son of Sir John Boyd, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Boyd.1 He married Honora Mary Calmady, daughter of Charles Biggs Calmady, on 14 May 1850.1 He died on 7 August 1857 at age 38.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered in December 1857.1
Sir John Augustus Boyd, 4th Bt. gained the rank of officer in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the capture of St. Jean d'Acre in 1840.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1845.1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Boyd, of Danson, co. Kent [G.B., 1775] on 19 January 1855.1
