     Esmé Violet Stewart-Savile was born on 8 July 1889.2 She was the daughter of Captain Walter Stewart-Savile and Mildred Campbell.3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Guy Marsland Darell, son of Sir Lionel Edward Darell, 5th Bt. and Helen Frances Marshland, on 27 July 1914.1 She died on 8 March 1968 at age 78.1
     From 27 July 1914, her married name became Darell.
