     James Taylor was born on 10 January 1700.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Taylor, 1st Bt. and Anne Cotton.1 He married Catharine Meredith on 25 November 1737.1 He died in 1747.1

     Her married name became Crofts.1 Her married name became FitzGerald.1
