     Anna Maria Stuart was born illegitimately in 1773.1 She was the daughter of Colonel William Stuart, 9th Lord Blantyre and Harriet Teasdale.1 She married Thomas Brooke on 1 February 1793 at Bhagalpore, India.2 She died on 30 November 1835.2 She was buried at Widcombe Crescent, Bath, Somerset, England.1
     From 1 February 1793, her married name became Brooke.1

     Alexander Stuart, 10th Lord Blantyre was the son of Robert Stuart, 7th Lord Blantyre and Margaret Hay.1 He married Catharine Lindsay, daughter of Patrick Lindsay and Margaret Haliburton, on 23 July 1773 at Eaglescairnie, East Lothian, Scotland.1 He died on 5 November 1783 at Clifton, Gloucestershire, England.1
     Alexander Stuart, 10th Lord Blantyre succeeded to the title of 10th Lord Blantyre [S., 1606] on 16 January 1776.1
