He died on 29 April 1927 at age 72 at Chateau d'Oex, La Rochette, Switzerland.

She married, firstly, Captain Lord Amelius Wentworth Beauclerk, son of William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of St. Albans and Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, on 27 July 1853. She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. John Walpole d'Oyly on 2 January 1884. She died on 9 November 1910.
     From 27 July 1853, her married name became Beauclerk. From 2 January 1884, her married name became d'Oyly.

John Thomas Capel and Lady Caroline Paget.1 He married, firstly, Lady Caroline Janetta Beauclerk, daughter of William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of St. Albans and Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, on 14 July 1825.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Caroline Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Charles Boyle, Viscount Dungarvan and Lady Catherine St. Lawrence, on 3 June 1863.3 He married, thirdly, Louisa Elizabeth Heneage, daughter of Charles Fieschi Heneage, on 25 April 1881.4 He died on 11 September 1892 at age 89.2
     Arthur Algernon Capell, 6th Earl of Essex was baptised with the name of Arthur Algernon Capel.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Viscount Malden, co. Essex [E., 1661] on 23 April 1839.2 He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Essex [E., 1661] on 23 April 1839.2 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Capell of Hadham, co. Hereford [E., 1641] on 23 April 1839.2 On 23 July 1880 his name was legally changed to Arthur Algernon Capell by Royal Licence.2

Mabel Theresa Duncombe.1,3 She married Sir Robert Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon, son of Sir William Eden, 7th Bt. and Sybil Frances Grey, on 5 November 1923.1 She and Sir Robert Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon were divorced in 1950.1 She died on 29 June 1957 at age 51.1
