     Frances Elizabeth Steele was the daughter of William Edward Steele.¹ She married Sir Robert Stawell Ball, son of Robert Ball and Amelia Gresley Hellicar, on 5 August 1868.¹ She died on 6 August 1919.¹

     William Edward Steele was Director of the Science and Art Museum, Dublin.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).¹

     Robert Steele Ball was born on 17 December 1869.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Stawell Ball and Frances Elizabeth Steele.¹ He married Olga Sturge, daughter of John Edmund Sturge, on 2 September 1903.¹ He died on 23 July 1957 at age 87.¹
