     Ronald Herbert Ball was born on 19 November 1925.1 He was the son of Sir Nigel Gresley Ball, 3rd Bt. and Florine Isabel Irwin.1 He married, firstly, Pamela Mary Morton, daughter of John Morton, on 15 April 1950.1 He married, secondly, Diana Joy Maitland Pridham, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Pridham, in 1970.1 He and Diana Joy Maitland Pridham were divorced in 1980.1 He died on 4 October 1995 at age 69.1
     Ronald Herbert Ball was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1943 in the service of the Grenadier Guards.1 He lived Associate, Royal Institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.).1
