Algernon Henry Strutt, 3rd Baron Belper was born on 6 May 1883.2 He was the son of Henry Strutt, 2nd Baron Belper and Lady Margaret Coke.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Eva Isabel Marion Bruce, daughter of Major Henry Campbell Bruce, 2nd Baron Aberdare of Duffryn and Constance Mary Beckett, on 26 April 1911 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, England.1,3 He and Hon. Eva Isabel Marion Bruce were divorced in 1922.1 He married, secondly, Angela Mariota Tollemache, daughter of Hon. Alfred Douglas Tollemache and Alice Mary Head, on 12 July 1923.3 He died on 20 May 1956 at age 73.3
