     Her married name became Pringle.1 From 3 January 1589/90, her married name became Borthwick.1

     William Borthwick, 9th of Crookston was the son of William Borthwick, 8th of Crookston and Eupham Browne.1 He married Janet Craig, daughter of Thomas Craig of Riccarton, in 1678.1 He died before 20 April 1681.1
     William Borthwick, 9th of Crookston was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 26 May 1693.1
