     Lt.-Col. Robert Peter Fleming was born on 31 May 1907.1 He was the son of Major Valentine Fleming and Evelyn Beatrice Sainte Croix Rose.1,2 He married Dame Celia Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of John Robert Johnson and Ethel Griffiths, on 10 December 1935.1 He died in August 1971 at age 64 at Black Mount, Argyllshire, Scotland, while grouse shooting.1
