     Edward Stanley was born circa 1789. He was the son of James Stanley and Augusta Cornwall.2 He married Lady Mary Maitland, daughter of Sir James Maitland, 8th Earl of Lauderdale and Eleanor Todd, on 3 September 1819.2 He died on 8 March 1870.2
     Edward Stanley held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.2 He lived at Cross Hall, Lancashire, England.1

She was the daughter of Edward Stanley and Lady Mary Maitland.1,2 She married Sir Richard Dawson, 1st Earl of Dartrey, son of Richard Thomas Dawson, 2nd Baron Cremorne and Anne Elizabeth Emily Whaley, on 12 July 1841.1 She died on 9 August 1887 at age 64.1
     Her married name became Dawson. As a result of her marriage, Augusta Stanley was styled as Baroness Dartrey on 20 September 1847. As a result of her marriage, Augusta Stanley was styled as Countess of Dartrey on 12 July 1866.

     Sir Richard Dawson, 1st Earl of Dartrey was born on 7 September 1817.1 He was the son of Richard Thomas Dawson, 2nd Baron Cremorne and Anne Elizabeth Emily Whaley.1 He married Augusta Stanley, daughter of Edward Stanley and Lady Mary Maitland, on 12 July 1841.1 He died on 12 May 1897 at age 79.1
     Sir Richard Dawson, 1st Earl of Dartrey succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Cremorne, of Castle Dawson, co. Monaghan [I., 1797] on 21 March 1827.1 He was created 1st Baron Dartrey, of Dartrey, co. Monaghan [U.K.] on 20 September 1847.1 He was invested as a Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) on 22 February 1855.1 He was created 1st Earl of Dartrey [U.K.] on 12 July 1866.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Monaghan between 1871 and 1897.1

Samuel Long was born on 18 May 1799 at Berkeley Square, London, England.2 He was the son of Samuel Long and Lady Jane Maitland.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Emily Stanley, daughter of Sir Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby, on 18 April 1825.2 He married, secondly, Sydney Charlotte Anne Atherley on 19 November 1827 at Arundel, Sussex, England.2 He married, thirdly, Emily Herbert on 28 February 1854 at Macroon, County Cork, Ireland.2 He married, fourthly, Eleanor Julian Stanley, daughter of Edward Stanley and Lady Mary Maitland, on 11 December 1866 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 He died on 31 August 1881 at age 82.1
