Adrian Norton Knatchbull-Hugessen was born on 5 July 1891.1 He was the son of Edward Hugessen Knatchbull-Hugessen, 1st Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Ethel Mary Walker.1 He married Margaret Cecilia Duggan, daughter of George Herrick Duggan, on 7 September 1922.1 He died on 30 March 1976 at age 84.1
     Hon. Adrian Norton Knatchbull-Hugessen was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.1 He was admitted to the Canadian Bar in 1914 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Canadian Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He graduated from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.).1 He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1932.1 He held the office of Senator [Canada] in 1937.1
