     Colonel Ernest Villiers was born on 18 July 1838.1 He was the son of Hon. Edward Ernest Villiers and Hon. Elizabeth Charlotte Liddell.2 He married, secondly, Adela Sarah Ibbetson, daughter of Colonel Charles Parke Ibbetson and Lady Adela Consande Maria Child Villiers, on 21 July 1869 at Clarendon, Wiltshire, England.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Sir Charles Alexander Wood, on 10 April 1866.1 He died on 22 April 1921 at age 82.4
     Colonel Ernest Villiers gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 43rd Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the service of the 21st Battalion, Company of London Regiment.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He was decorated with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.).1

     Colonel Charles Parke Ibbetson was born in 1820.2 He married, firstly, Lady Adela Consande Maria Child Villiers, daughter of George Child Villiers, 5th Earl of Jersey and Sarah Sophia Fane, on 17 November 1845 at Old Church, St. Pancras, London, England, after first eloping to Gretna Green.2 He married, secondly, Emily Whiting, daughter of William Henry Whiting and Elizabeth Garstin, on 15 December 1864 at St. Thomas's, Ryde, Isle of Wight, England.2 He died in 1898.2
     Colonel Charles Parke Ibbetson gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 11th (Prince Albert's Own) Hussars.2
