Elizabeth Charlotte Liddell.2 He married, secondly, Adela Sarah Ibbetson, daughter of Colonel Charles Parke Ibbetson and Lady Adela Consande Maria Child-Villiers, on 21 July 1869 at Clarendon, Wiltshire, England.3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Sir Charles Alexander Wood, on 10 April 1866.1 He died on 22 April 1921 at age 82.4
He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 43rd Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the service of the 21st Battalion, Company of London Regiment.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria.1 He was decorated with the award of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.).1
