     Sir Godfrey Copley, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Copley, of Sprotborough, co. Yorks [England] on 17 June 1661.2

     Sir Gilbert Heathcote, 1st Bt. was born on 2 January 1651/52 at Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.1 He was the son of Gilbert Heathcote and Anne Dickens.2 He married Hester Rayner, daughter of Christopher Rayner, circa 30 May 1682. He died on 25 January 1732/33 at age 81 at St. Swithin's Lane, London, England.1
