     Geoffrey Fitz-Hervey Montmorency was born on 23 August 1876.1 He was the son of Waller de Montmorency and Mary O'Brien.2
     Geoffrey Fitz-Hervey Montmorency was Private Sec to Viceroy of -26 India 1922.1 Tour 1921 Ch Sec to HRH The Prince of Wales during his Indian -22.1 He was in the Indian Civil Service.1 He was Knight of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (K.G.St.J.).1 Sir.1 He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1922.1 Between 1926 and 1928 mem Punjab Exec Council.1 He was Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.) in 1928.1 Between 1928 and 1933 Gov of Punjab.1 He was Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (G.C.I.E.) in 1933.1 He was educated on 25 February 1955 Malvern, and Pembroke College Camb (hon Fell), d unm.1
