Charles Douglas Richard Hanbury-Tracy, 4th Baron Sudeley of Toddington was born on 3 July 1840 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1 He was the son of Thomas Charles Hanbury, 2nd Baron Sudeley of Toddington and Emma Elizabeth Alicia Pennant. He married Ada Maria Katherine Tollemache, daughter of Hon. Frederick James Tollemache and Isabella Anne Forbes, on 9 May 1868 at Hanbury, Worcestershire, England.1 He died on 9 December 1922 at age 82.2
He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Montgomeryshire).2 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (Montgomeyshire.2 He gained the title of 4th Baron Sudeley of Toddington. He was Royal Navy (Baltic in Crimean War and China and Pacific Stations, Lieutenant 1860, Gunnery Lieutenant 1862), Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) Montgomery 1863–77, barrister 1866, Ld-in-Waiting 1880–85, Chm Br Commn to Vienna Electrical Exhibition in 1854.2 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1886.2
