     Daphne Helen Anne Brudenell-Bruce was the daughter of Colonel Robert Hanbury Brudenell-Bruce and Olive Ina Vera Richardson.1 She married, firstly, Commander Reginald Hughes-Onslow, son of Major Denzil Hughes-Onslow, on 20 December 1934.1 She and Commander Reginald Hughes-Onslow were divorced in 1946.1 She married, secondly, John Edward Montague Bradish-Ellames, son of William Bradish-Ellames, on 15 August 1946. She married, thirdly, Hon. Robert Francis Hubert Preston, son of Jenico Edward Joseph Preston, 15th Viscount Gormanston and Eileen Butler, in 1970.1,2 She died on 9 December 1992.1
      From 20 December 1934, her married name became Hughes-Onslow. From 15 August 1946, her married name became Bradish-Ellames. From 1970, her married name became Preston.1
