Sir Henry Cosmo Orme Bonsor, 1st Bt. was born on 2 September 1848.1 He was the son of Joseph Bonsor and Eliza Denne Orme.1 He married, firstly, Emily Gertrude Fellowes, daughter of James Fellowes and Gertrude Charlotte Micklethwaite, on 18 April 1872. He married, secondly, Mabel Grace Brand, daughter of James Brand, on 3 March 1886.2 He died on 4 December 1929 at age 81.1
