     Sir Robert Shirley, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Shirley, 2nd Bt. and Lady Dorothy Devereux.1 He married Catherine Okeover, daughter of Humphrey Okeover.2 He died on 6 November 1656 at Tower of London, The City, London, England, possibly from poisoning.2
     Sir Robert Shirley, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] on 7 June 1646.2 As a Royalist, he was committed to the Tower of London by Oliver Cromwell.2

     Alianore de Lovayne was the daughter of Sir John de Lovayne.1 She married Sir William Bourchier, son of Robert Bourchier, 1st Lord Bourchier and Margaret Prayers, in 1359.1 She died on 5 October 1397.1
     From 1359, her married name became Bourchier.1
