Richard Lovell Edgeworth was born on 31 May 1744 at Pierrepont Street, Bath, Somerset, England.2 He was the son of Richard Edgeworth and Jane Lovell.2 He married, firstly, Anna Maria Elers, daughter of Paul Elers and Mary Hungerford, in 1763 at Scotland, after eloping.2 He married, secondly, Honora Sneyd, daughter of Edward Sneyd, on 17 July 1773 at Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.2 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Sneyd, daughter of Edward Sneyd, on 25 December 1780 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, England.2 He married, fourthly, Frances Ann Beaufort, daughter of Venerable Daniel Augustus Beaufort and Mary Waller, on 31 May 1798.2 He died on 13 June 1817 at age 73.2
