     Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 2nd Bt. and Helen Douglas.1 He married, firstly, Jean Fortune on 16 September 1665.1 He married, secondly, Alison Turnbull on 17 April 1679.1 He died in March 1682.1
     Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Bruce, of Stenhouse [N.S., 1628].1

     Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 3rd Bt. and Jean Fortune.1 He married Margaret Boyd, daughter of John Boyd.1 He died in March 1721.1
     Sir William Bruce of Stenhouse, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Bruce, of Stenhouse [N.S., 1628] in March 1682.1
     He also had an elder and a younger son, and several daughters.1
