     Mary Jane Macdonald Lockhart was the daughter of Sir Charles Macdonald Lockhart, of Lee and Carnwath, 2nd Bt. and Emilia Ross.1 She married Hon. Augustus Henry Moreton Macdonald of Largie, son of Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 1st Earl of Ducie and Lady Frances Herbert, on 15 September 1837.1 She died on 10 December 1851.1
     From 15 September 1837, her married name became Moreton Macdonald.1

Augustus Henry Moreton Macdonald of Largie was born on 24 June 1804.1 He was the son of Thomas Reynolds-Moreton, 1st Earl of Ducie and Lady Frances Herbert.1 He married Mary Jane Macdonald Lockhart, daughter of Sir Charles Macdonald Lockhart, of Lee and Carnwath, 2nd Bt. and Emilia Ross, on 15 September 1837.1 He died on 14 February 1862 at age 57.1
     Hon. Augustus Henry Moreton Macdonald of Largie was baptised with the name of Augustus Henry Moreton.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1
