     Harriet Matilda Johnston was born on 17 August 1832 at Tejutea, BrazilG.2 She was the daughter of Edward Johnston and Henriette Marie Moke.3,4 She married, firstly, Hardman Earle, son of Sir Hardman Earle, 1st Bt. and Mary Langton, on 19 August 1852 at St. Catherine's Church, Liverpool, Lancashire, EnglandG.2 She married, secondly, Major James Legh Thursby, son of Reverend William Thursby and Eleanor Mary Hargreaves, on 15 October 1863 at St. Nicholas Church, Brighton, Sussex, EnglandG.2 She died on 30 December 1876 at age 44 at Craig-Le, Caernarvonshire, WalesG.2
     From 19 August 1852, her married name became Earle.2 From 15 October 1863, her married name became Thursby.2

     Arthur Harvey Thursby was born on 23 May 1832 at Hardingstone, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Reverend William Thursby and Eleanor Mary Hargreaves.2 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Kershaw, daughter of Edmund Newman Kershaw and Mary Anne Yates, on 28 April 1859 at Witton, Chester, EnglandG.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Minchin, daughter of Reverend Harry Holdsworth Minchin and Mary Thompson, on 16 March 1903 at Chapel Royal, Savoy, London, EnglandG.2 He was also reported to have been married on 10 March 1903.1 He died circa 1909 at Bradfield, Berkshire, EnglandG.2
     He lived at Culverlands, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
