Lt.-Col. Richard Chester-Master was born in 1870.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas William Chester Master and Georgina Emily Rolls.1 He married Geraldine M. B. Arkwright, daughter of John H. Arkwright, in 1901.1 He died in 1917 at France, killed in action.1
Lt.-Col. Richard Chester-Master fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He was decorated with the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was Resident Commissioner of Rhodesia between 1905 and 1908.1 He was Chief Constable of Gloucestershire between 1910 and 1917.1 He fought in the First World War.1
