     Gerald Anstruther Wathen was the son of William Hulbert Wathen.² He married Melicent Louis Buxton, daughter of Charles Louis Buxton and Maria Lee-Warner, on 16 November 1909.¹ He died on 9 August 1958.¹
     Gerald Anstruther Wathen graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).¹

     Minda Rachel Buxton was born on 9 July 2004.¹ She is the daughter of Anthony John Buxton and Lara Fleming.¹

     Rachel Mulholland married Harry Desmond Gascoigne Buxton, son of Andrew Edward Buxton and Barbara Anne Lloyd.¹
     Her married name became Buxton.¹

     Brigadier John Lawrence Buxton was born on 1 December 1877.¹ He was the son of Francis William Buxton and Hon. Mary Emma Lawrence.² He married Evelyne Elsye Rynd, daughter of Reverend J. W. Rynd, on 5 February 1916.¹ He died on 17 January 1951 at age 73.¹
     Brigadier John Lawrence Buxton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was severely wounded.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade.¹ He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ In 1929 Aldershot.¹ He was Local Brigadier of the Troops of Gibraltar between 1930 and 1931.¹ He was Commander of the 144th Gloucestershire and Worcestershire Infantry Brigade between 1931 and 1934.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1933 and 1934.¹ He was Equerry to HRH The Duke of Connaught between 1939 and 1940.¹

     Evelyne Elsye Rynd was the daughter of Reverend J. W. Rynd.² She married Brigadier John Lawrence Buxton, son of Francis William Buxton and Hon. Mary Emma Lawrence, on 5 February 1916.¹ She died on 19 October 1961.¹
     From 5 February 1916, her married name became Buxton.

     Hugh Forster Buxton was born on 9 April 1882.¹ He was the son of Francis William Buxton and Hon. Mary Emma Lawrence.² He married Blanche Juliana St. Aubyn, daughter of Major W. J. St. Aubyn, on 6 September 1904.¹ He died on 3 November 1916 at age 34, killed in action.¹
     Hugh Forster Buxton fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Rifle Brigade.¹

     
     Major W. J. St. Aubyn gained the rank of Major in the service of the 24th Regiment.¹

     Blanche Juliana St. Aubyn was the daughter of Major W. J. St. Aubyn.² She married Hugh Forster Buxton, son of Francis William Buxton and Hon. Mary Emma Lawrence, on 6 September 1904.¹ She died on 21 March 1907.¹
     From 6 September 1904, her married name became Buxton.
