     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1

     Her married name became Wathen.

     Her married name became Long. She was married 2nd Reginald Evelyn Welby-Pelham, Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (died 19 March 1965), 3rd s of Honour Evelyn Cornwallis Anderson-Pelham, DL, Justice of the Peace (J.P.) (see YARBOROUGH, E), and by 1st husband had: on 22 November 1951.1

     Captain Eustace Ruffel Drake Long was born in 1884 at Beachampton, Buckinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Reverend David Long and Clara Elizabeth Poole.3,2 He married Sylvia Augusta Starkey, daughter of Captain Sir John Ralph Starkey, 1st Bt. and Emily Seely, on 10 September 1925.1 He married Ethel Ida Yeats-Brown, daughter of Fredrick Yeats-Brown and Ida von Pustau.4 He died on 30 June 1941.
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
