     Colonel Wilfrid Byron was born on 31 January 1871.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. William Byron and Mary Elizabeth Kindersley.2 He married Sylvia Mary Moore, daughter of Reverend Charles Thomas Moore and Hon. Mabel Charlotte Byron, on 25 September 1901.1 He died in November 1936 at age 65.1
     Colonel Wilfrid Byron fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Colonel of the Leicestershire Yeomanry.1

     Rupert Frederick George Byron, 11th Baron Byron of Rochdale gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Leicestershire Yeomanry, Territorial Army.1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded to the title of 11th Baron Byron of Rochdale, co. Lancaster [E., 1643] on 6 June 1949.1

     Pauline Augusta Cornwall was the daughter of T. J. Cornwall.2 She married Rupert Frederick George Byron, 11th Baron Byron of Rochdale, son of Colonel Wilfrid Byron and Sylvia Mary Moore, on 29 July 1931.1 She died in 1993.1
     From 29 July 1931, her married name became Byron. As a result of her marriage, Pauline Augusta Cornwall was styled as Baroness Byron of Rochdale on 6 June 1949.
