     Very Rev. Hon. Spencer Cowper was the son of William Cowper, 1st Earl Cowper and Mary Clavering.2 He married Hon. Dorothy Townshend, daughter of Charles Townshend, 2nd Viscount Townshend of Raynham and Dorothy Walpole, on 19 May 1743.1,2 He died on 25 March 1774, without issue.2
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1731 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1734 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)2 He was the Rector in 1742 at Fordwich, Kent, EnglandG.2 He held the office of Prebendary of Canterbury in 1742.2 He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1746 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)2 He held the office of Dean of Durham in 1746.1,2

     Lady Lilias Charlotte Cairns was born on 3 February 1860.1 She was the daughter of Hugh MacCalmont Cairns, 1st Earl Cairns and Mary Harriet MacNeile.2 She married Reverend Henry Nevile Sherbrooke, son of Henry Porter Sherbrooke and Louisa Anne Fleming Fane, on 5 March 1878.1 She died on 5 September 1889 at age 29.1
     From 5 March 1878, her married name became Sherbrooke.

     Robert Samuel Theodore Chorley, 1st Baron Chorley was born on 29 May 1895.1 He was the son of Richard Fisher Chorley and Annie Elizabeth Frost.3,1 He married Katharine Campbell Hopkinson, daughter of Edward Hopkinson, on 15 April 1925.1 He died on 27 January 1978 at age 82.1
