     Hugh Lupton was born circa 1862.1 He was the son of Francis Lupton and Frances Elizabeth Greenhow.1 He married Isabella Simey.1 He died in February 1947 at Gate Close Cottage, Elmete Lane, Roundhay, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.1
     Hugh Lupton was a director of Hathorn Daey Company.1 He held the office of Lord Mayor of Leeds between 1926 and 1927.1
