     Sir Ilay Mark Campbell of Succoth, 7th Bt. was born on 29 May 1927.1 He is the son of Sir George Ilay Campbell of Succoth, 6th Bt. and Clematis Elizabeth Denys Waring.2 He married Margaret Minette Rohais Anderson, daughter of James Alasdair Anderson and Lady Flavia Joan Lucy Giffard, on 22 July 1961.1
     Sir Ilay Mark Campbell of Succoth, 7th Bt. was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Campbell, of Succoth [U.K., 1808] on 1 April 1967.1 He was Scottish agent for Christie’s between 1968 and 1992.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1970 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) in 1986.1 He lived in 2003 at Crarae Lodge,, Inverary, Argyllshire, Scotland.1
