     Her married name became Johnstone-Douglas.

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Lancers.1

     Grace Elizabeth Johnstone-Douglas was the daughter of Robert Johnstone-Douglas of Lockerbie and Lady Jane Margaret Mary Douglas.1,2 She married William Edwardes, 4th Baron Kensington, son of Captain William Edwardes, 3rd Baron Kensington and Laura Jane Ellison, on 19 September 1867.1 She died on 19 January 1910.1
     Her married name became Edwardes. As a result of her marriage, Grace Elizabeth Johnstone-Douglas was styled as Baroness Kensington on 23 March 1886.

     Major James Sholto Douglas was born on 3 July 1757.1 He was the son of Charles James Sholto Douglas and Basilia Dawes.1 He married Sarah Dawes, daughter of James Dawes, on 13 March 1784.1 He died on 12 January 1830 at age 72.1
