Henrietta Patricia Burnett was the daughter of John Burnett. She married, firstly, Major Sholto Douglas, son of Major James Sholto Douglas and Sarah Dawes, on 25 March 1830. She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Ferdinand White on 13 June 1844. She died on 27 December 1859.

Rear-Admiral Stair Douglas was born on 27 October 1764. He was the son of Charles James Sholto Douglas and Basilia Dawes. He married Anne Payne, daughter of John Payne, on 24 July 1802. He died on 22 November 1826 at age 62.
