     Sir John Douglas, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Douglas, 2nd Bt. and Helen Erskine. He died on 13 November 1778.
     Sir John Douglas, 3rd Bt. gained the title of 3rd Baronet Douglas, of Kelhead in 1733.

     Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Douglas, 3rd Bt. and Christian Cunningham. He married Grace Johnstone, daughter of William Johnstone, on 21 March 1772. He died on 16 May 1783.
     Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. gained the title of 4th Baronet Douglas, of Kelhead.

     Grace Johnstone was the daughter of William Johnstone. She married Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Douglas, 3rd Bt. and Christian Cunningham, on 21 March 1772. She died on 25 March 1836.
     Her married name became Douglas.

     John Douglas, 7th Marquess of Queensbury was born in 1779. He was the son of Sir William Douglas, 4th Bt. and Grace Johnstone. He married Sarah Douglas, daughter of Major James Sholto Douglas and Sarah Dawes, on 16 July 1817. He died on 19 December 1856.
     John Douglas, 7th Marquess of Queensbury gained the title of 7th Marquess of Queensbury.
