     Margaret Hamilton is the daughter of James Hamilton.1 She married Thomas Butler, 6th Viscount Ikerrin, son of James Butler, 3rd Viscount Ikerrin and Eleanor Redman, on 6 July 1713.1
     As a result of her marriage, Margaret Hamilton was styled as Viscountess Ikerrin on 6 July 1713. From 6 July 1713, her married name became Butler.

     James Butler, 7th Viscount Ikerrin was born in 1714.1 He was the son of Thomas Butler, 6th Viscount Ikerrin and Margaret Hamilton.2 He died on 20 October 1721.1
     James Butler, 7th Viscount Ikerrin succeeded to the title of 7th Viscount Ikerrin, co. Tipperary [I., 1629] on 7 March 1719/20.1
