     Cuthbert John Cayley was born on 9 June 1907.1 He was the son of Digby Leonard Arthur Cayley and Beatrice Coddington.2 He married Cecil Lilla Iris Cayley, daughter of Admiral George Cuthbert Cayley and Cecil Mildred May Jones, on 21 July 1938.1 He died on 24 March 1980 at age 72.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1

     Admiral George Cuthbert Cayley was born on 30 August 1866.1 He was the son of Digby Cayley and Charlotte Philadelphia Bower.2 He married Cecil Mildred May Jones, daughter of Colonel Price Jones, in 1897.1 He died on 21 December 1944 at age 78.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1916.1 He was GOC of the North-West Area in 1918.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major-General in the Royal Air Force.1

     Paul Charles Cuthbert Cayley was born on 18 December 1906.1 He was the son of Admiral George Cuthbert Cayley and Cecil Mildred May Jones.2 He married Cassandra Rosamond Elaine Legard, daughter of Sir Digby Algernon Hall Legard, 13th Bt. and Georgina Blanche Elaine Barber-Starkey, on 26 July 1939.1 He died on 25 May 1945 at age 38, following an accident.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Royal Engineers.1

Sir Digby Algernon Hall Legard, 13th Bt.1

     Sir Digby Algernon Hall Legard, 13th Bt. was born on 7 December 1876.2 He is the son of Reverend Cecil Henry Legard and Emily Mary Hall.2 He married Georgina Blanche Elaine Barber-Starkey, daughter of William Joseph Starkey Barber-Starkey and Margaret Aimée Kinloch, on 2 June 1904.2 He died on 5 January 1961 at age 84.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1899 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 20 February 1918.2

     Cassandra Rosamond Elaine Legard was the daughter of Sir Digby Algernon Hall Legard, 13th Bt. and Georgina Blanche Elaine Barber-Starkey.2 She married, firstly, Paul Charles Cuthbert Cayley, son of Admiral George Cuthbert Cayley and Cecil Mildred May Jones, on 26 July 1939.1 She married, secondly, John Heseltine Sarginson, son of James Sarginson, on 24 August 1946.1 She died in 1989.2
     From 26 July 1939, her married name became Cayley. From 24 August 1946, her married name became Sarginson.1
